salve, Reader! We hope this email finds you well on this very last stretch of the school year. Now that the sun is shining, we are already looking to our annual summer school, and hoping that you will be joining us! This year, it will take place at Stamford School from Monday 29th July – Friday 2nd August, and it will be directed by Alex Smith. Registration is already open!
We are still putting the finishing touches to the schedule, but here is a summary of the fantastic events that will take place: Option GroupsOur workshops are delivered by practising teachers, and they provide invaluable resources to prepare for the year ahead. But do not worry if you need a break from marking schemes and schemes of work; we also have a variety of fun options that go beyond the curriculum. Here is an idea of what to expect: GCSE, AS and A Level set texts for Latin, Greek and Classical Civilisation KS3 teaching resources Latin language tuition at varied levels Latin composition for beginners Spoken Latin Lectures on a variety of topics in Ancient Literature and History ExcursionIncluded in the cost of the Summer School is an excursion (details TBC). Come and join with your talents, or just see what others are doing! There will be singing, theatre, poetic readings and plenty of surprises. QuizFinally a quiz you can shine at as a classicist!
