We are very pleased to announce that our next Summer School will take place in the Haberdasher's Monmouth School from the 28th of July to the 1st of August 2025, under the direction of Laura Beech. More details will follow on our website, but you should expect our usual line-up of excellent lectures, a trip to a Roman site and a variety of option groups covering set texts, language practice and Classical Civilisation. The school is located in the lovely Welsh border town of Monmouth in the beautiful Wye Valley. It is easily accessible by road, with on-site parking, by train to Newport or Hereford, and by connecting buses to Monmouth. A minibus shuttle can be arranged. Accommodation will be mainly in ensuite single study bedrooms in the 6th form girls’ boarding house. There will be excellent sports facilities and a swimming pool! We are looking forward to catching up with those who can attend this year's Summer School in Stamford. Have a lovely summer! |
